My husband was doing the breathing techniques with me

Hi Anu akka
I’m your Early-Pregnancy, breastfeeding, infant care, and Labor Management student. On 31st March we were blessed with a baby girl via Natural Birth. I was very active throughout my pregnancy.
We always wanted to have the process of our baby’s birth to be natural. Many people have given away their free advice for us to go for Artificial Conception as they thought we were already late to have a baby; however, we were very confident and we know that we are not late and we can Conceive Naturally. We were very fortunate to find people like you who could boost up our confidence and show us the right direction in order to have a natural birth.
After attending your Early-Pregnancy session, we were very confident that we both can alone manage the pregnancy period with all the knowledge you have provided for both of us. Throughout my pregnancy, I was very active and healthy by following the suggested diet. I was continuously doing stairs, walking, butterflies, Birth ball, and other exercises you suggested.
By the time we attended your Labor management session, we have Zero knowledge about the same and were very nervous to face the same. Your session was a great Eye opener for both of us as you’ve provided the right techniques and guidance for successful labor.
My EDD was on 31st March. I didn’t have any symptoms of Labor until 30th March and as per the doctor’s suggestion, we were admitted to the hospital on the same day. My Cervix was still closed by the time doctor did PV at 8:30 AM and suggested induction through a gel. Dr. did a follow-up after 6 hours around 2:30 PM and I still didn’t have any pains and was not dilated, so repeated the induction process. I was doing the Birth ball and all the other exercises in between that you suggested to us which really helped us a lot.
Around 9:30 PM, I was 1cm dilated and at this time Dr. had performed membrane stripping and asked me to take rest until 4:30 AM in the morning. I was having period-like cramps in the beginning and slowly started increasing and I had vomiting in between as well.
Then immediately my water broke and from then onwards I was having continuous contractions. Nurses were regularly performing NST and they were very helpful. My husband was feeding me in between the contractions. I was very restless at that time and not able to even bear the touch or even the smallest of the sounds. He knows I will be more irritated if he suggested Breathing techniques or any suggestions hence indirectly reminded me of breathing techniques by doing the same himself.
The nurse visited us around 3 AM in the morning and by that time I was exhausted and shell-shocked when she said I was 2 cm dilated (thought it would be more than that). However, she motivated me to continue. I trusted my body and was very hopeful that things would turn around and keep reminding ourselves of your inspiring words during the session. I was 4cm dilated by 3:30 AM and it gave me a little hope.
I thought I would birth before the afternoon the next day. But surprisingly by 4:30 AM I was fully dilated and had a pushing urge. When the Nurse said that I would give birth before 8 AM, it made me happy and confident. We were shifted to the labor room and my Dr. came to the hospital and started helping and motivating me during the final stages of labor.
Once my Dr. and my husband are in the Labor room and within a couple of pushes, my little princess arrived around 5:22 AM. My partner didn’t run after our newborn, he has been with me until my stitches are done. I have to mention here the amazing work of Dr.Shery Angel and her staff during labor. My Dr. was surprised when she saw me doing breathing exercises and having a Sipper bottle with me and was very happy, I was doing all these to help them and all the credit goes to you Akka
