I got the below message few days back
“My wonderful husband is proof that good men exist and so do happy marriages.

I am a mom of 6 months old writing this. I am blessed to have a loving husband, more than that, he is a man who knows how to take care of his wife and baby during the postpartum. I never feel alone during this postpartum journey because my husband is here to take responsibility of our baby. He looks after our baby and lets me rest. Sometimes he even bathes our baby.

His love and support is my hidden strength. I would like to give a shout out to all the husbands out there trying to break society norms and help their wives through postpartum by making their involvement seem normal to the previous generation.”

Isn’t this wonderful to think about a whole new generation of men working hard to normalise equal parenting and normalise supporting his wife during postpartum.

This is the change many women out there are waiting for so glad to see it happening already, though it’s still a long way, the passage looks brighter now, yes the future of mothers look brighter now.
