PCOD and my conception
#vrikshamprepregjourney
Hi ka, finally I got the pink lines I have been longing for. We have been trying for almost 10months now. After marriage my periods was very irregular. We attended your class in dec 2020 and then consulted a doctor. Doctor asked us to try naturally. I have always been on a bit heavier side( weighed around 79kg while we started to try), so I was very concerned if my weight was preventing me from getting pregnant. After few months I took scan and got to know that I had PCOD, I started taking medicines for PCOD and my husband also took test, his motility was low , so he was taking medicines to improve motility. Since both us had some issues, I was bit worried and concerned. Underwent 3 months of induction (induced ovulation), with reduction of 2kgs weight. Every month was a disappointment. Also it had been almost 1yr after marg, so everyone started to ask about baby. In july I took follicular scan and to my disappointment that cycle the egg never ruptured despite taking all medicines.
I was fed up and I decided not to take any medicines, followed proper diet and changed my mindset and lifestyle with just one thought – I will get pregnant when it is the right time for me. Good things come in good time. And trusted the universe. Lost around 4kgs(came down to 73.8kg), To my surprise just the next month , my period got delayed , initially I thought may be it is because of PCOD and finally with all hope I tested and got positive result.
To everyone out there. Trust your body and the universe , good things come in good time. So don’t lose hope , just wait for your time. Your stories were always an inspiration for me. Hope my story would give positive thoughts to women who are worried about PCOD, overweight. Keep me in your prayers for a safe and healthy pregnancy. Waiting to attend your early pregnancy class ka.
