Baby had a cord around the neck
#vrikshambirthstory
Hi Akka… Wanted to share the good news with u…
By the grace of God, I delivered my baby boy on June 12th midnight at 12.11 A.M normal delivery….
Honestly your classes were such-a boon to me.. they told me the baby is big and its not possible for me to deliver vaginally… I insisted that I wanted to walk in-between my contractions and kept moving and doing breathing exercises and visualizations to distract myself… As the contractions intensified, it became difficult for me to focus and I was tightening myself… My husband kept rubbing and massaging and making me loosen up… Inspite of so many hours of labour, they said I am only 4 cms dilated and the baby’s head is not descending further and wanted to do c section….
But thanks to ur classes, I told them I want to stand and try for some time and I held on to my husband and stood during the next few contraction and felt the urge to push…. Thankfully after that my doctor came into the ward and just within a few pushes my baby was out without the help of forceps or any other intervention… Everyone in the labour ward was surprised because none expected it to happen like this…
Truly no words to express how thankful I am….
Thank you so much…
I forgot to mention one more important part…
Only the next day after my delivery my husband told me this… ..
So actually when I was pushing and the baby’s head was showing is when they realized the chord was around the baby’s neck.. so my doctor gently removed the chord first and then pulled the baby out..
Thankfully my husband didn’t tell me this while I was pushing because he didn’t want me to panic…
Also wanted to share with u about how beneficial today’s breastfeeding class was… My baby is 3 weeks old now… And i am so glad i attended today since i got clarity regarding so many of my practical struggles with breastfeeding…
I have been following your page throughout my pregnancy and breastfeeding journey and it has been such a boon to me… your knowledge is amazing… Makes me also want to help other moms like the way you do… Because all this is so important but people are so blinded by myths and superstitions and they done truly understand how remarkable our bodies are…
