Relatives should know their limits while giving advice…
Hi Anu mam, it’s with great joy, extreme discomfort, exhausted body, fully irritated mind, and sore/leaking breasts I’m writing that I delivered a boy baby through c-section on Jan 11th. I have attended 3 of your webinars which helped me in many ways from my pre-pregnancy to my current breastfeeding.
Relatives should know their limits while visiting newborns and while giving advice. Was flooded with much irrational advice. Without your breastfeeding webinar, it would have been tough to handle that advice. They are Crashing new mom’s confidence seamlessly. I had to be tough on others to avoid formula milk and I’m proud of it.
Giving advice in this matter without knowing the impact of it is so reckless. Dear relatives, I respect your concern towards the mom and baby but pls be mindful of what you’re saying as it will affect the newborn baby immensely. Don’t say something just because you have been told that way during your birthing period.
My husband helped me by giving me colostrum milk, being there with me for the last 10 days and nights relentlessly, and waking up at night whenever I woke up without showing any inconvenience. Emptied my urine bags when they got delayed from the nurse’s side without even a sigh. He is my entire support system. This birthing period helped us to go more intimate(emotionally)!
Dear Anu, Keep uplifting your lives. Loads of respect and love. We Need more Anu Akka to empower women and moms!
