#vrikshambirthstory,

Hello Anu mam. My husband and I attended all your pregnancy classes from the USA and followed all your exercises (duck walking, crawling, walking up and down the stairs) and I truly believe that it made a huge impact on my birth experience. I was even crawling on the floor the night before my water broke.

I had been having cramps for 2 weeks leading up to my delivery date. On Sep 7th morning, a week before my estimated due date, I woke up to mild cramps around 8 am and as I got up to go to the bathroom, I was leaking. I was pretty sure it was my water that broke as there was a spot of blood in it. Even after using the restroom, I was leaking in my pad and I was pretty sure that my water broke.

We alerted my doctor and hospital, had breakfast, took our bags and went to the hospital. The nurse checked and confirmed that the water broke and that I was 5 cm dilated. We got admitted. I had mild contractions until 2pm. After that it was getting severe. I wanted to have an unmedicated birth but I was in so much pain.

My mind was tempting me for an epidural. I was telling my husband and mom that I literally felt like I was dying. The contractions were around 1-2 mins apart. I had the urge to push so I went to the restroom. After coming out, the nurse asked if I am feeling pressure and I said yes. The doctor came in and checked and I was hoping he would say that I’m at least 8cm dilated. His answer shocked me. He showed me 10 fingers and said we can start pushing if you’re ready.

I was so happy and I said I did it! I started pushing at 4 pm. I was incredibly thirsty in-between pushing and the sipper bottle that you recommended was a great tip! After 1 hour and 20 minutes of pushing, my little girl came out the full term at exactly 39 weeks. I was ecstatic and couldn’t believe it! I cried and said I did it. I never cried or yelled before delivery, instead, I relaxed, took deep breaths, and welcomed the contractions as each contraction gets me closer to meeting my little girl ❤️

So thankful and grateful that everything went according to my birth plan. I had a peaceful, positive, and unmedicated birth experience, thanks to your exercise recommendations and tips.

Thank you so much ❤️
