Be prepared and be strong whatever the situation
Hi Anu ka, Happy and strong to announce that we are blessed with a baby girl on 25th November, and it’s an emergency c-section.
I was experiencing contractions and everything went well, did all exercises during my pregnancy and during early labor, even though had some complications earlier in 9th month, iugr baby, had high resistance in the uterus blood flow was under close watch but as u said I talked to my baby throughout those times.
We successfully passed 39 weeks of pregnancy and on the exact 24th of November started experiencing contractions and was admitted to the hospital, they waited for me to get strong contractions but since I was already under close watch we did cardiotocography to monitor my baby’s heartbeat during my contractions baby’s heartbeat started dropping.
I was only 1 cm dilated followed breathing techniques and kept myself active and hydrated but due to the baby’s heartbeat dropping down. Shifted me into emergency c- sec. Because she couldn’t cope with my contractions since she is already iugr baby.
Now I am in recovery and my baby is fine. I had lots of positive thoughts about normal delivery and was working towards it sincerely but not everything is in our hands. End of the day all need their baby to be healthy and safe during delivery. During my pregnancy, I promised my baby that I will do everything to get her into this world by vaginal birth and did walking, exercise, and breathing exercises.
When it was time for an emergency c-sec I promised her that I will be strong enough to tolerate and recover from the surgery and will be with her for all her needs. Be prepared and be strong whatever the situation.
